HOW TO GET TO OAXACA?
Our wedding will take place in the city of Oaxaca. The options to get there from Mexico City are the following:
Car
Duration: 6 hours
To get by car from Mexico City to Oaxaca, you will have to take the Mexico-Puebla highway and then take the exit toward Oaxaca. Consider toll expenses.
Plane
Duration: 1 hour 10 minutes
VivaAerobus, Aeroméxico and Volaris offer direct flights from Mexico City to Oaxaca. Getting from the Oaxaca airport to the city center will take you approx. 20 minutes, and you can order a taxi or rent a car.
Bus
Duration: 7 hours
There are many schedules available to travel by bus from Mexico City to Oaxaca. If you have chosen to travel by bus, we recommend booking your ticket through this page.

DRESS CODE
The dress code we suggest for our event is cocktail, but you can dress however you like and feel comfortable (light jackets, huipils, and guayaberas are welcome).
Note: We will not provide flip flops or slippers, so we recommend that you bring a pair of comfortable shoes with you.
WEATHER
Please consider that the weather will be hot during the day and cold during the night.
ABOUT THE VENUE
The reception will take place in El Cardenal, a charming rustic garden located in the heart of the city of Oaxaca.
Our Story
We met on the way to the Lacandona Jungle. Santi began his doctorate, Vania finished her bachelor. The story continues in a back and forth between England and the Netherlands. Our adventure together begins on January 6, 2017 in Uganda. In the corner of a beach on the coast of Mazunte we got engaged. In January 2025, after eight years of sharing our passion for nature, we will get married in the heart of the most biodiverse state of one of the most biodiverse countries in the world.
